العربيةاليوم هو يوم المرأة العالمي.
إنه يوم لنتذكر فيه القيادات النسائية والناشطات في مجال حقوق المرأة الذين دافعوا عن المساواة بين الجنسين والعدالة بين الجنسين.
بعد تفويض الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة (UNGA) في عام 1977، يتم الاحتفال بيوم 8 مارس من كل عام باعتباره اليوم العالمي للمرأة.
منذ بدايته، لا يزال اليوم العالمي للمرأة بمثابة منتدى لجذب الانتباه إلى الخطاب الأوسع حول الشمولية، والمساواة بين الجنسين، والحديث عن حقوق المرأة.
